Record-breaking & award-winningThe story your brand can't fake.
For fifteen years Muse taught the world's filmmakers how story works. Muse & Co is where the best of them make yours.
Muse Storytelling started with a psychology student and a camera from Best Buy, and became five National Emmys, films in nearly a hundred countries, and the training ground for more than ten thousand filmmakers. Along the way we did something agencies don't do: we tested the method in the lab and published it in peer-reviewed journals.
There's an old story about Picasso sketching on a napkin for a stranger and naming a price that made her gasp. "It took you thirty seconds," she said. "No," he said. "It took me forty years." That is the honest math of a Muse film. You aren't paying for three minutes of footage. You're paying for the fifteen years that make those three minutes land.
Muse & Co is the production arm of that house. Muse Storytelling trains and certifies the storytellers. Muse & Co assembles the best of them, puts a Muse Creative Director over the work, and delivers the film to your brand. Same method. Same standard. One company behind it.
Your customers can tell when a story is made for them and when it's made at them.
A brand belief, brought to life. 3.3M views, 43 countries, their most-watched film ever.
How the science was applied, minute by minute.
Four pillars · one filmConfusion first. Then the calendar.
The hook is a real reaction, not a title card. The conflict is a life run from Outlook and a phone clutched in sleep. The resolution is the wall opening onto the place they promised to go.
“Our life is run from an Outlook calendar.”
A doctor, a dad, a sister. Then their people.
Desire: to be present. Motivation: the daughter, the wife, the sister who recorded the message. Uniqueness: we watch them hear it for the first time.
“When I'm home, I'm a husband and dad first.”
One chair. One pair of headphones.
A bare stage strips everything but the face. When the resort finally appears behind them, the place has been earned, not advertised.
“In a twinkle of an eye, these things would go.”
Take your time. With them.
The film never sells a stay. It asks one question: who are you not taking the time for? Four Seasons is simply where the answer happens.
“I think it's about time we finally do our girls trip.”

Story is not magic.
It's biology. We published the proof.
Media Psychology · 2019Hamby, Shawver & Moreau
Journal of Business Research · 2023Hamby, Orazi & Moreau
In 1944 two psychologists, Heider and Simmel, showed people an animation of triangles and circles moving around a box. The audience invented villains, love stories and heartbreak. We are wired so deeply for narrative that we find it in shapes.
Most agencies stop at quoting that study. We ran our own. In two studies published in Media Psychology, Muse's founder and his co-authors tested what actually moves an audience. It wasn't production value and it wasn't enjoyment. It was the character: when viewers understood why someone wanted something, and watched them struggle for it, they felt more, were more moved, and were significantly more likely to share the story. Enjoyment alone predicted nothing.1
Then we asked the harder question: does it matter who tells the story? In three experiments with professionally produced films, published in the Journal of Business Research, we showed that the storyteller's own standing changes how true the audience believes the story is, how serious they judge the problem to be, and whether they act on it. Reveal the source at the wrong moment and the effect weakens.2
That is the mechanism inside every Muse film: a real person with a real reason, shown struggling for something that matters, told by the person who has the right to tell it. We built it into four pillars.

What the world's top thinkers say about Muse.
AI works for our storytellers. It never stands in front of the camera.
We use AI the way a great editor uses a second brain: to pressure-test a story structure, to find the thread in forty hours of footage through AI-assisted post-production workflows, to plan a shoot in five countries. It makes us faster and more rigorous, and it gives more of our hours back to the part that matters.
Then a human storyteller gets on a plane. They sit at your founder's kitchen table, stand in your customer's workshop at dawn, earn the moment when someone says the true thing. Every frame we deliver was captured by a person, on location, with the real people whose story it is.
Every frame we deliver is shot by a person, on a real set, with real people. We don't generate the faces, the places or the moments and pass them off as real, because a story your audience can't trust isn't a story. It's a claim. Where a tool touches the work, we say so, in the credentials that ship with every film.
